Description
This swinging bridge, with a stone arch at either end, was built by members of the Civilian Conservation Corps in Tishomingo State Park, MS in 1939, during the Great Depression. I suppose this is the sort of thing one could expect when the government builds a swinging bridge.

My 92 year old mother was hospitalized for 6 days. On the wall in her room was this photo. She grew up in Tishomingo and enjoyed that park all her life. Thank you for the wonderful memories your photo gave her.

It was a morning when the light was delicious. This photo doesn't show it, but Mississippi has some great late Fall colors. Thank you, very much. JD
