We need to get back down there again and take the ferry out to Cumberland Island. There's an old Studebaker convertible out by the carriage house and an oak tree with the world's largest poison ivy vine that I'd love to take some photos of. A good place to grow up.

This is a wonderful painting!!! I used to live in St. Marys GA and I loved it there. It is a very pretty place.

Hi Joel, Thanks for your nice comments. I like you work as well! Little Switzerland is a really nice area - We were there the first week of November in what I hoped to be the best time to capture the colors of the Fall. I did a second painting of Grassy Creek Falls, it is a mixed media work of acrylic and mosaic chips. I have yet to post it to FAA, but you can see it at micahmullen.com. My favorite waterfall in NC is Whitewater falls in the far southwest corner of the state, You can't get very close to it, but the view from afar is absolutely breathtaking. I looked over most of your images - and I think I like this the best. Very calming picture - Great capture of the water reflections, and a beautiful orange yellow sky. Bravo!

Thank you! I've wanted to put this one up for some time, but the large flatbed scanner has been out of service for most of a month. This image is just from my camera. It looks like we're at the beginning of a double-barreled winter event, so it may be awhile before I get to town to try again. But, I'm rambling. Thanks for your comment.
