Description

Nothing improves your abilities as a photographer as much as strong sunlight, composition takes a well deserved second place. This is a caterpillar that caught my eye on the way back from the Cascades at E.B. Jeffress Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway. If the creator of the Universe can put this much detail in the design of an insect, there is probably nothing unimportant in the universe. Near the end of our journey, at the Hole-in-the-Wall campground on Grand Manan Island, I took a photo of a backlit dandelion that shares the same sun lit magic.
