What could be better than taking your sketch pad out of the cargo pocket of your hiking pants and making a pencil sketch of one of your favorite waterfalls? Maybe returning to your campsite and doing a couple of watercolor washes for detail? This trip to Black Mountain I learned that the falls in this photo is the lowest cascade of four waterfalls. That should be some hike!
