One of many doodles that I've done over the last few months while trying to hint at the Tejas Trail experience. They say that a painting is a moment frozen in time. I am very near (I think) completing my current work on Guadalupe Mountains National Park watercolors. But, the color, shape and tonal challenges of West Texas painting tend to be compelling...
