This is a larger, 12 x 20, restatement of my first wrestling match with a butterfly done on 300# watercolor board. One of the interesting things about painting watercolors is that when you finish a composition you usually think that you should have painted it a little differently. I suspect there will be several further drafts of this subject. Meanwhile, I have created a few mixed media variations of the subject in my photo editor.
