Description
This is a reimagining of 'The Old House at Grassy Gap'. I think it is more interest cropped close, But I like the whole painting. My wife and I have a running argument about whether or not anyone has lived there during the last thirty years. I suspect the last owners had a lifetime tenancy from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Nobody wants to live in an old house without phone service or high speed internet these days. The people who built these houses and the barns nearby were tough. And the country keeps disappearing...
