Artist's Description
Early summer was so wet and hot in the southeast that we didn�t even camp once in July. So, this full sheet, and several quarter sheets filled the time between High Country camping trips. As I was finishing painting this one the words �Whose barn? What Barn? My Barn!� kept playing in my head. I knew it was an old rock and roll song, so I Googled the phrase and that took me to a video from the fifties or sixties of Jerry Lee Lewis performing Whole Lot of Shaking Going On on the Ed Sullivan Show. I think I actually saw that show. Anyhow, this one is a keeper and it�ll eventually hang in our dining room. WhoseBarn?WhatBarn?MYBarn!!
